EAPs are voluntary, work-based programs to provide confidential assistance to employees.
They are recognized as a practical, workable approach for companies to support and maintain their employees’ mental and physical well-being, motivation, and success; benefiting both the employees and the companies they work for.
EAPs help businesses and organizations address productivity challenges and other related issues by helping employees identify and resolve these issues so they can continue to work and contribute to the best of their abilities.
In many instances, problems arise as a result of both internal and external stressors like burnout, stress, grief, or family problems – and can often go undetected until it’s too late. This is where EAPs work best. My program provides pre-emptive assessments and training for managers and supervisors – alerting them to warning signs and equipping them with skills and techniques they can use to address any issues before they become unmanageable.
As an EAP provider, I understand that retaining valued employees is important to any organization. I am committed to giving the best possible counselling, training, related referrals, and support I can in order to make this happen.
